Indonesia is known to have a vast area of forests, rich with thousands of wood types. Throughout time, Indonesian manufacturers and craftsmen have used these local woods to create a wide range of products and materials.
The user of this project is one of the manufacturers, they are the largest wood-processing/woodworking company in Indonesia by using environmentally friendly technologies and consistently safeguarding the forests. They mainly produce marine plywood, performance plywood, general plywood, lightweight plywood, construction plywood, floor plywood, decorative plywood, Flexi plywood, solid wood flooring, engineered flooring, decorative wall panels, and wood architecture. To maintain the purity and consistency of their product and ensure that the manufacturing process is reliable, they want the cleanest, most uniform feedstock, at the same time, they produce a big quantity of wood wastes like the pictures below, these kinds of wood wastes reduce their disposal costs by having their own wood-fired heating systems.
Some pictures of their wood wastes:
The wood wastes are clean, free from other contaminants, such as metal, grit, glass, plastic. The shapes and sizes are irregular. Drum wood chipper has the advantage of a wide range of input.
The wood wastes chipping system helps them to convert their wood wastes into 10-20mm chips for boiler fuel. They used a screw conveyor to feed the chips to the boiler, so they need a small size of chips.
KJ wood chipper model KJDC318EC, with inlet size 750mm(Width) x 300mm(Height), nearly all the wood wastes can be fed to the chipper.

The chipping system includes a feeding conveyor, chipper, output conveyor, and electric control cabinet. The container arrives in Semarang in September of 2019, we helped our users to install the chipping system, and make chipping testing with their wood wastes.
