It is a die-and-punches-type mechanical press with two flywheels. Each flywheel is driven by belts with motors. Material is continuously fed through a hopper by means of a belt conveyor with its own gearbox and a motor. From the feeding chamber, the material is compressed by ram through taper bored die. Briquettes come out from the cooling line. The total process is continuous and controlled by an electric panel. Briquetting press is used for the production of high-density fuel briquettes from all types of biomass and shred garbage.

Residues and wastes such as groundnuts shell, wood waste, bagasse(sugarcane stalk), cotton shell/stalk, mustard husk/straw, coffee husk pine needles, sawdust, and etc. Acceptable moisture in raw material of briquetting is 8-25% based on different raw materials and shape/size of briquettes you want to make.

Some questions you may have:

1. Does binder need when making briquettes?
No binder is necessary to make clean and green biomass briquettes. Output briquettes will have 500-1000kcal more calories than material before being processed. Raw materials like rice husk, wood shavings can be used directly without grinding.

2. What other machinery will be needed when making briquettes?
We also have wood chippers, hammer mills, dryers to help you prepare raw material before briquettting. Please check with us for certain models.
